Saturday marks end of early voting across NC, Guilford Co. sees big turnout

Saturday marked the end of early voting across North Carolina.

Deputy Director Tim Tsujii of the Guilford County Board of Elections said this year’s early voting numbers increased dramatically, with more than 58,000 votes compared to more than 45,000 in the 2010 election.

Alamance county totaled at 18,698 votes.

Tuesday is Election day. The voting polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
